i hate not posting forever, but there are reasons for my absence.

i had like 3/4 of a HUGE and wonderful entry typed out like a week ago, and out of nowhere my laptop shut off (something that's happened more and more frequently over the past couple of months).

then i had to dog-sit lucy while the rabs went on vacation.

then my laptop finally pooped out for good. done. after four years of constant use, being turned on for days at a time, being carried to and from chicago, to and from work, like three thousand dvds viewed, and two times it's been dropped and subsequently repaired, it's no surpise that i need a new computer. i'm actually not pissed...the only things i had saved on there that i'm upset about losing are my songs, but i can re-download those within a week or two once i get another laptop. and laptops now are so much better than mine...i definitely need one with a burner in it.

so here i sit, at roop's house while he and tony hook up a system in the lumina van. that's some of that hardcore.

since too much time has passed to write an in-depth report of my life these days, i'll do a quick point-by-point summary.

*working pretty much all day shifts at old navy until school starts. so sweet getting off at noon or, at the very latest, 4:00 in the afternoon.
*bought and finished harry potter and the half-blood prince. i loved it...still not as much as harry potter 4, but loved it nonetheless.
*new laguna beach = me obsessing over even more scandal/drama/ignorance and loving every second of it.
*i have short hair again. got it all whacked off last friday, and it's taken me almost that entire week to love it. but i'm finally learning how to fix it the way i want it.
*my car's getting new brakes tomorrow...after that, though, i'm looking for another one to buy because with the honda, it's just one thing after the next.
*got a sewing machine set up in my room. lots of doll and people clothes, and accesories as well.
*my v-smash came in the mail. i named her omaha. she's fucking wonderful, and her and kiley pen are such cute sisters.
*my next blythe (which i will probably be unable to afford until like 2006, due to the fact that i need both a new car and a new computer) will be birdie blue. it's been decided.
*lots of awesome friend action, between amy and wes' grad party last weekend and going to the bar with everyone for bobby's 21st birthday...in a week's period, i've reunited with shelly, JOHN FUCKING SEGOVIA (who i constantly love and miss, who is on his way to iraq, who i wish the best of luck and can't wait to see again), kyla webb, jenny baker, matt gard, ashley hayhurst, brian bauer, troy bauer, steve p (and his super-friendly girlfriend heather, who i just met), jason petersen, and probably more. it's so good to see people after long periods of time. bobby's birthday was such a blast, too. i love beer and making fun of dirty hoodrat butterfaces who think they need to go unclothed and hump each other in order to be real women.
*lots of tonyrab and me action. it's like i know that soon he'll be at school, and we'll be only seeing each other roughly a couple-few times a month or whatever, but i'm not even fucking sad anymore because this summer with him has been one of the best in my whole life. we've done so much fun stuff, had some quality time even when we're doing nothing exciting at all. i love that boy. after he was gone for like four days in canada, and he came back, it was such a happy feeling to see him again. absence truly does make the heart grow fonder, so that's definitely a positive to our relationship come this fall. i'm GOING to make the best of this<3.
*speaking of this fall, i start school again soon. as always, i'm missing it (and the city in general) really badly, but i'm sure that'll all change when i'm stuck there five days a week doing some heavy learning.

so once this car bullshit's finished, we're going to the china buffet for one last hurrah before tony and i start hardcore dieting again...both of us have gained visible guts. and sure we're both still dead sexy. but it just feels good to NOT have a gut.
